Theatre 1 introduces the student to the many facets of live theatre including: acting, design, playwriting, directing, concentration and presentation skills such as voice, speech, and movement. Students will develop creativity, confidence, self-awareness and imagination.

 

Our projects include:

Come & Go by Samuel Beckett - Exploring Given Circumstances

Our Town by Thornton Wilder - Text Analysis, Scenework & Socratic Seminar

Ensemble - As a group we will bring a short story alive using shadows

The Five Minute Play Festival - writing, producing, designing & performing original plays.
